May...Almost Summer!

Once Jacksen and I got back from Peoria, we turned right around and headed to Mtn. Home AFB in Idaho, 40 miles from Boise. This was a house hunting trip, as we will be moving there in August. We stayed with our friends, Travis and Lisa Hazeltine, who used to live 4 houses down from us here in Alaska. They were wonderful hosts and their kids, Cole 2 1/2 yrs, and Avery 9 months, were such dolls. We founds a house the first day, then spent the rest of the time enjoying the wonderful weather. We went to the Boise Zoo for Mother's Day. It was a successful and fun trip. We did some calculating and figured out Jacksen has over 20,000 air miles under his belt already. Now we're back in Alaska for good until we move. Brian has taught me to fly fish, so I'll be ready for a trip we are taking as a family up north over Memorial Day. Brian left today for a bear hunt down south, his last big hunt in Alaska. Hopefully, it will be successful.
