November Missouri Trip

So the boys and I traveled to Missouri in November, staying for 2 weeks and returning to Idaho in time to spend Thanksgiving with Brian.  As always the travel was a little sketchy, just the tree of us (especially when they both declared they needed to poop five minutes before one of our planes was boarding), but we made it.  We had a great time with the family and friends we got to see.
Here's my Dad's parents, Lea Ann, Jack, Campbell, Ryan, Dad, Grady and me.
Her's Caleb giving Great Grandpa Friga a chocolately kiss.
A rare occasion--we got to be home for Mom's birthday this year.  Here's my folks and all their grandkids for Mom's 39th birthday (hee hee!).
The boys just love my dad and all of his cool "toys" on the farm, like the tractor and four wheeler.  Caleb didn't miss a chance to go riding with him.
Dad plants turnips in one of the fields every year, just for fun and "the deer like 'em."  We picked turnips on more than one occasion during our 2 weeks there!  Jack and his cousin Ryan really loved it, searching out the biggest ones they could find and declaring, "I found a honkin' one!"

This particular turnip was one of Jack's "finds"and was bigger than his head!
Here's Caleb and Jack with my good friend Missy's son, Maddox, who is a month old than Caleb.  It was fun to see the kids play together.
Here's the real star of the show in Missouri--Campbell Ruth, my sister's daughter and only granddaughter.  At 14 months old and an only child living in a relatively quiet house, I'm afraid Ms. Campbell was a tad overwhelmed by all the big boys running around.  They are love her so much and think she is the cutest (which she is), but mostly they are too much for her yet.  She is walking a laughing and so funny.

The three youngest cousins, Grady 3, Campbell 1, Caleb 2.5.
We had such a great time, especially seeing all the kids together.
And now, on to the Christmas Season!!
